Cornerstone to Recovery is a charitable addiction recovery organization serving individuals and families in Newmarket, York Region and surrounding communities. We provide accessible, community-based recovery programs and supports for people impacted by substance/alcohol use and addiction.

Our programs include residential addiction treatment, a 5-Week Day Recovery Program, recovery community supports, counseling, peer support, 12-step meetings and recovery-focused wellness programming.

Through our five pillars – Connections, Pathways, Residential, Wellness and Social Enterprise – we provide opportunities for individuals to build the skills, relationships and support systems needed for long-term recovery.

Cornerstone to Recovery is located in Newmarket and supports individuals and families throughout York Region and surrounding communities. Cornerstone is a grassroots organization that is founded and run by individuals in recovery who foster a sustainable, and fun, therapeutic environment. We have grown immensely since our founding. We’ve changed our name, moved to a new location, opened new facilities and introduced more accessible programming. What has remained the same is our organization’s steadfast belief that everyone who is impacted by substance abuse and mental health can have a happier and healthier life, surrounded by those who have walked a similar path and care for them.
