A free day program for individuals impacted by substance abuse and addiction, which teaches essential life skills for recovery.

Cornerstone Pathways is a five week day program held in our community centre. Pathways focuses on recovery, employment, and life skills that are essential to sustainable change. We offer space for individuals at all points in their recovery journey to connect with others, develop skills and achieve their goals. The Pathways team will lead you through the program, help you create an action plan, connect you with other community services and provide ongoing support after graduation. Upon completing the program, all participants have a brand new professional resume created to their unique skill set, along with enhanced computer skills, and a three month membership to Cornerstone’s Wellness Centre. The Pathways program assists participants to both stabilize and recover in all aspects of their lives in a fun, supportive and social environment.

Unfortunately Funding for this program will be discontinued April 30, 2024. Stay tuned for new programs.

  • “My experience was fantastic! I really enjoyed my time in this course. I wish there were more like it.”
  • “For me it was more about life skills or coping skills. Managing my anger and looking at cause and effect of substance abuse. I have gained more insight that was much needed.”
  • “This is a course that will make a positive impact on the lives that participate in it.”
  • “It realistically prepared me to re-enter the work force and become a more productive member of society.”
  • “I really enjoyed this program and think many people should participate in it. They don’t teach you these things in high school which makes it difficult to learn when you’re older by yourself.”
